It was an honour to speak at the Life as a Clinician-Scientist NSW Symposium on 24 September 2025, hosted by the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences at Westmead. I’m deeply grateful to the Academy for the opportunity to share my journey alongside so many inspiring doctors, researchers, and guest speakers. The energy in the room was uplifting, and the conversations—both formal and informal—highlighted the passion and curiosity that drive our clinician-scientist community forward.
