At the 43rd Annual Scientific Meeting of TSANZ, held in Canberra from June 22–24, Associate Professor Rebecca Deans contributed to a dynamic program focused on innovation in transplantation and infectious disease management.
Representing the Royal Hospital for Women and UNSW, Dr Deans brought her expertise in uterus transplantation and adolescent gynaecology to the forefront of clinical and scientific dialogue. Her colleague, Karen Keung, presented a paper on the 1st uterus transplant and the immunology associated with this.
